They are still the sole vegetable and poultry farm in Bergen County, even after nine decades and five generations. They take great satisfaction in the longstanding work ethic, moral principles, and selfless dedication of their family. Abma'S Farm provide the neighborhood the best fresh vegetables, meat and eggs from their own chickens, daily baked goods from their scratch bakery, handcrafted delicacies from their kitchen, and expertly produced plants from their greenhouses in a laid-back and welcoming environment. The homestead and outbuildings on their 32-acre farm, which dates to the 1790s, have been meticulously preserved and kept in their original condition. One of the few 200+ year old barns left remaining in Bergen County is their largest Dutch style barn, which has been transformed into a flourishing retail market with a "scratch" bakery and a gourmet kitchen.
