Aquila Jewellery is an independent jewellery brand located in the colourful lanes of Brighton, UK. It's a small business that started when their Founder, Stacey, discovered their love of unique handmade jewellery. Wherever and whenever they travelled, they collected jewellery pieces, and their interest grew from there. They particularly liked mixed metal, gold and silver jewellery. Aquila Jewellery adored looking at local markets, watching the artisans work as they used skills and generational techniques to produce beautifully intricate designs. As they watched, they grew to admire the incredible precision of the artisans' handheld tools just as much as the finished products. It was when they travelled to a dusty village in Indonesia that they stumbled across a group of silversmiths and their families working together to produce jewellery for a local market.
