Since 1965, Bill's Music is a Maryland-based musical instrument retail store that has been family-owned and operated. Founder Bill's interest in music began with the introduction of rock and roll in the 1950s, he learned how to play their songs on the guitar and then began going to people's homes to give guitar lessons, in addition to teaching guitar lessons he began selling accessories and some musical instruments. Over the years, Bill's Music expanded sevenfold along Frederick Road, filled with new, used, and vintage equipment from the industry's top name brands, the store has exploded to become one of the largest musical instrument retailers on the East Coast, specializing in instrument sales, rentals, repairs, lessons, sound consulting, trading in trade-ins and buying used equipment. In addition, they offer two on-site instrument repair facilities, band rehearsal space, and a mobile bandstand for the music community.
