My Sewing Box is a Bournemouth-based mother-daughter duo's online fabric and haberdashery business. All of it started with a fictitious study business plan, a great love of fabric, and, of course, growing up learning to sew for themselves. However, after completing a lot of basic projects, they quickly realized that there was not much choice for fabrics of a higher quality, and none of it was particularly inspiring. They started looking into what was available and discovered a lot of high-quality, well-designed fabrics that they wanted to use but couldn't find in their area. All of My Sewing Box's fabrics are hand-picked, the contents of all of their monthly boxes are carefully selected, and all of their kits take a lot of time to create. Although it involves a lot of hands-on work, they adore it, and so do their clients.
