Perth Royal Show was established in 1831 as a non-profit independent organization. Every year, they coordinate a nationally recognized competition for innovation and excellence. Since 1834, except during the First and Second World Wars, the Perth Royal Exhibition Grounds have been used as accommodation and training bases for military personnel, including the 10th Hussar Battalion, 16th Battalion and 17th Battalion.
