The decorations were inspired by the catacombs, ossuaries and mortuaries around the world that the creators have visited over the years. The unique visuals, created by Laurie Moran, aim to replicate the dark beauty of these sacred spaces, taking inspiration from the Capuchin Catacombs (Polemo, Italy), St. Michael's Mortuary (Hare, Austria) Erstadt), the Sedlec Ossuary (Prague Ossuary) and by exploring the funeral customs of their ancestors. The Ossuary has created a thoughtful and unique space for the small-batch Gothic brand to grace a brick-and-mortar retail store in Salem for the first time.
